DuckHorn Outdoors Adventures targets demographic groups that need to be rewarded, educated, and/or enticed through the vast number of outdoor activities in Missouri and Kansas.
DuckHorn Outdoors Adventures holds a variety of events for
youth, women, physically and mentally disabled, first-responders, veterans, young adults and DuckHorn Outdoors Adventures Champions.
The impact on these individuals, volunteers and participants, is in many cases life changing. Youngsters are thrilled with catching their first fish, camping out with their troop, and talking around a campfire. Veterans and First-Responders are building mutual support communities through events and helping DOA set-up and put-on events.
These are all great examples of how lives are enhanced through DuckHorn programming and facilities.
The Champions are volunteers and/or family members that plan, coordinate, and manage the events. They also help fund the activities. More than 350+ volunteer hours and $6000 are required for each weekend event.
In 2019, DuckHorn Outdoors Adventures has hosted 16 separate events with more than 10,000 volunteer hours and 500 participants.
